A : Please contact the council attendant or go into your account and switch the status of your eLevy Card from Active to Blocked.

Q : If my personal and contact details change, how do I change these on my eLevy accounts?

A : Registered account holders can change their personal and/or contact details by login into their account online or via the mobile eLevy app and going to the settings option.

Q : How will I know if my eLevy account funds are low?

A : You can check for your account balance by logging into your eLevy account online or via the mobile eLevy app. Depending on what platfrom you are using- you may also receive a low balance alert.Else contact your council attendat

Q : I have lost my eLevy card. How do I get a new one?

A : see your council attendant and get a replacement instantly .Do note that the price of card may vary.

Q : How does eLevy Zambia bill my account?

A : Your eLevy account is prepaid. Each time an eLevy card is used the eLevy charge is debited from the account

Q : Can I pay my eLevy at the end of the month?

A : Yes, you can pay daily or weekly or monthly,eLevy payment is not extend credit. All eLevy accounts must be prepaid.

Q : What are the penalties for non-payment of eLevy Fees and will I be blacklisted?

A : All offenders will have their property repossessed by the council, additional administrative fees and associated infringements wii apply. Non Payment of eLevy may also result in your vehicle being blacklisted.

Q : What happens to my eLevy card if I sell my vehicle or buy a new one?

If you sell your vehicle:
Your sold vehicle will have to be removed and deleted from your eLevy account, which can be done via your online account, else contact council attendant

If you buy a new vehicle:

A new vehicle can be added to your existing eLevy account online.

A : Please report incorrect transactions to your council attendant so that your query can be addressed.

Q : Do I have to use the money in my eLevy account within a certain time frame?

A : No, the money remains the property of the eLevy account holder and can be kept in the eLevy account as long as necessary or a refund can be requested if you close your account.

Q : Can I retrieve my invoices for my company account?

A : all invoices are mailed to the account holder via email. To make further inquiries contact your nearest council attendant

A : Obtain it from your council attendant, the cost is K25. The price of the card may vary depending on the source.

Q : Can a single eLevy account be used on more than one vehicle?

A : Yes more than one vehicle can be registered to one account

A :  Currently there is no discount of any sort

Q : How can I get a refund when there has been a double transaction on my eLevy account?

A : Inform the eLevy council attendant and they will be able to refund you. If you notice the double transaction after the fact and it has not been automatically refunded, contact our customer support line.

Q : What methods are acceptable when recharging my eLevy account?:

A : You can recharge your eLevy account by via Kazang, Flutterwave, Cellulant and MTN Mobile Money.

Q : Can I use my eLevy card for a vehicle that is not mine or lend the card to another driver to use.

A : Your eLevy card can be used by any vehicle tied to that eLevy acccount.

Q : Can I close my account?

A : To have your eLevy account closed please get in touch with your council attendant
